How I can help

Clear guidance before decisions get expensive.

I help you sort out performance questions early—so your designer, builder, and HVAC contractor can execute with fewer gaps. You already have—or plan to hire—a designer and a builder. My role is different. I step in before scopes and systems are locked to review assumptions, identify risk, and help you make informed decisions that hold up during construction. Supporting Line Think of this as decision support, not project management.

Performance plan review

Most homeowners start here.

You send plans, specs, and any HVAC or energy notes you’ve received. I review them as a system and flag what’s unclear, mismatched, or missing.

What you get:

  • Marked-up feedback on enclosure and mechanical decisions
  • Clear notes on comfort, moisture, and sizing risk
  • A short list of decisions that should be made now
  • Questions you can take back to your team

Decision call

We walk through the review together. You can ask questions, test options, and pressure-check recommendations before anything gets priced or built.

You leave knowing what matters, what doesn’t, and what can wait.

Ongoing advisory support

Some projects benefit from continued guidance as bids come in and scopes evolve.

This can include:

  • Reviewing contractor proposals
  • Sanity-checking scope changes
  • Helping interpret conflicting advice
  • Keeping performance goals intact as tradeoffs appear

This is optional. Many homeowners don’t need it.

What I don’t do

  • I don’t sell products
  • I don’t install systems
  • I don’t bid work
  • I don’t replace your designer or GC

That separation is intentional. It keeps the advice clean.

WHEN THIS HELPS MOST

When this is most useful

  •  Before HVAC is sized or selected
  • Before bids are finalized
  • Before insulation and air-sealing details are locked
  • Before contracts are signed

Earlier input saves more options.

NEXT STEPS

How to get started

We begin with a short fit call. If it makes sense to proceed, we decide together what level of support fits your project.

No pressure. No obligation.

Good projects don’t happen by accident.
They start with better decisions.
